Will these googles track metrics (pace, distance) in open water swims, or just in a pool, utilizing an accelerometer/gyroscope and lap length?Back to product

  1. Updated response, July 2020: The goggles now support open water swimming. You can connect a compatible smartwatch to see distance, pace and heart rate (if compatibility allows). You can also use the goggles on their own in open water. This lets you track your time and real time stroke rate while you swim, and if you have the Polar OH1/OH1 + sensor, you can monitor your heart rate in real time. You would also be able to review your average stroke rate and calories in the workout summary after you saved your swim.
